Bastien Fournié joined Bringer IP law firm in 2026 as a senior patent attorney specialized in medtech, mechanics, physics, materials, IoT and software.

Bastien started his career as a patent engineer in 2014 in an intellectual property consulting firm in Paris. He also worked as Head of IP for an innovative IoT medtech SME before heading the medtech department of an IP law firm. 

 

European Patent Attorney since 2018, he assists the firm’s clients (large corporations, SMEs, start-ups, independent inventors) in drafting patent applications and managing grant procedures in Europe, France and internationally. He also contributes to the implementation of intellectual property strategies and conducts prior art searches and freedom-to-operate studies. 

 

Originally from the Ariège Pyrénées region, Bastien is passionate about observing the wonders of nature and tending to his urban garden. A geek at heart, he also enjoys designing connected objects for his home automation with his 3D printer and experimenting with AI models.
